New Book: "Liberating Gaza: Breaking the Cycle of Poverty, Fundamentalism and Terror" (2024)

1.8.24

The world is calling for Gaza's liberation. However, liberation from whom specifically? And from what, precisely? How can this become a reality? Liberating Gazans from Hamas terrorism and relieving Israelis of its threat are essential components of a true liberation of Gaza. The underlying factors that allowed the creation and development of such an organization must be identified and resolved, but what are they?

For years, the Institute for Structural Reforms has conducted close, extensive research on these issues under the leadership of Shraga Biran. Last year, Tal Saar joined him. This book offers Biran's doctrine on the sinister causation of poverty on fundamentalism and terror.

While we live in an era of the highest human achievement, prosperity, and tremendous wealth, Gazans suffer from horrible poverty that fills them with envy and despair. Hamas exploits these impulses to recruit fighters for its jihad warfare and strengthen its grip over the population through fundamentalist teachings, offering a false paradise for hell-dwellers.

For almost twenty years, politicians have neglected the negative impact of poverty, fundamentalism, and terror on Gaza. Eliminating Hamas, restoring Gaza, and alleviating poverty should be the priorities. This will help rebuild a future after the October 7th massacre and war. A day is coming when the sole barrier between a liberated Gaza and a safe Israel will be a blossoming boulevard.

Hamas is a single faction among other groups that march under the banner of jihad. The urgent mission of eliminating terrorism, regardless of time or location, should not be postponed. Today's world has enough wealth to eradicate poverty and overcome barbarism. We trust our doctrine will help enlightened nations stand up to jihadi terrorism. As populists are climbing on the walls of the Capitol, any victory in the war against terror is a triumph for democracy in the United States and Europe, and for the rational strategy of the two great powers.
